In 1996 the was ONLY sold as a "fuselage" with the "mission control" handlebar/stem/headset combo the frameset. The Dupont Chrome Illusion durathane enamel has not faded at all!
If you bought this frame in 1996 you had to "build" the bike up at you local bike shop... and this one is a doozy!
Purchased originally at ZIggy's this bikes' discerning owner opted for FULL XTR, colour matched Race Face cranks with Ringle Hubs on Mavic X517 SUP rims. Tricked out with a Thompson seatpost, AMP pedals and carbon bar ends... this bike represents the coolest of cool in 1996.
In excellent shape with many years of riding still to come.
