MERLIN Aspen titanium road bike 56cm USED consignment NO TAX no warranty

In 2006 this was Originally a custom built bike. We bought the frame and built it up with Ultegra 3x10 drivetrain (105 cranks), titec seatpost, LX hubs with double walled, double eyeleted rims. The Titanium frame has room for up to 32mm wide tires. When this bike came back to us for consignment the original carbon fork had delaminated and needed to be replaced and the whole bike had been allowed to lanquish and needed a tuneup. We put a surplus carbon fork on it that only takes up to 28mm tires and did the work needed to make it a sweet, rideable, ultralight, plush beauty... but it could be so much more. With modern upgrades and a fork that accepts a wider tire this bike could be a STUPENDOUS all-round machine. The frame alone is a handbuilt work of art.
