1964 VIKING ‘Severn Valley’ Imported to Canada in the 60s by Rod Tinsley.
This beautiful, super-light racing bike has been completely rebuilt and reconditioned: including a complete respoke and rebuilt of the wheels with eliptically bladed spokes for “period” lightness and resiliency. This beauty was rebuilt to standards that would allow it to be raced again; not just made pretty for a good looking collection. It's A piece of cycling history.

Restored lovingly to the shape is was in when the owner stopped racing it in the 70s (well it had been raced, so it was beat, so we actually brought it back better than it was left.) This bike is as light as some modern carbon STI road bikes and rides like a dream.... shockingly so fantastic after its restoration and it has so many miles still left to adventure through.
This bike has been left "ON CONSIGNMENT" at the Bloomfield Bicycle Company, in Bloomfield Ont. and is available to test ride seven days a week, 10am – 6pm, from April 1 through October 31. Price listed in Canadian dollars. Bike is sold as is, no taxes, no warranty.
